Meeting Rusty

My mom got a new puppy last week, and we got to meet him for the first time on Sunday. He is a Brussels Griffon, 12 weeks old, and 5 pounds. We all fell in love. I get to puppy-sit next week when my mom has to go to Denver for the day. I'm sure Sarah is going to be in heaven having him all to herself for a few hours since the older kids will be in school most of the time he is here.
Rusty is sitting on the window seat my mom had built for him so that he could be in the office with her and see out the front window to keep an eye on the neighborhood.

journaling: We had waited all week to go to Grandmomma’s house to meet her new puppy. He is a Brussels Griffon and is as sweet as could be. He was nervous to meet so many new people, but that didn’t keep him from cautiously approaching all of the kids to say ‘hello’ to them. After 2 hours of attention, Rusty was all worn out and cuddled up in Grandmomma’s lap. We were all smitten and can’t wait to see him again.
