journaling: In honor of the girls’ first year of participating in a Nutcracker production, I collected a set of ornaments representing the show for our tree this year. They decorated our mantel with the stockings.

journaling: It was snowing but still ‘warm’ for a winter day, so it was perfect for a trip to the hill behind the school for a bit of sledding. Mark took Brenna and Sarah out for a few minutes of fun sliding down the snowy hill. Shouts of “It’s a new record” were yelled from the top of the hill when the sled stopped a bit further than previously.
